The Indigo Group

The Indigo Group is a registered charity that has delivered award-winning learning, play and childcare services across Glasgow for over 30 years.

We place families at the heart of every service, decision and policy we create. Our services are designed in partnership with families and shaped by the professional expertise of our qualified team.

Indigo’s unique all-through approach supports children and young people from 6 weeks to 16 years, nurturing development, providing fun and memorable experiences, and helping families give every child the best possible start in life, whatever their circumstances.

Our Services

We are dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our families and stakeholders every day through the delivery of outstanding quality learning, childcare and children and young people’s services from 6 weeks to 16 years.

Early Years

We offer full-day childcare at three locations:

Castlemilk – 6 weeks to 5 years old,
Garrowhill – 2 to 5 years old
Village of East Kilbride – 6 weeks to 5 years old

Out of School Care

School-aged childcare (primary 1- primary 6) can be booked for term time, holidays, or both—with fun activities and convenient school collections and drop off from 7 different schools, to make life easier.

Indi Youth

An innovative service for young people from Primary 7 to 16 years. The only one of its kind in Scotland, it is a service designed by young people, for young people and delivered by youth workers, using the youthwork principles.

It gives parents peace of mind that their young people are safe and gives young people the ownership and leadership of their own free time, in ways that work for them.

We offer the flexibility to book term time, school holiday time or both. We are based in the Castlemilk Youth Complex.

Mobile Creche

Outstanding childcare where and when you need it across the Glasgow area. We offer an all-age mobile crèche service for any event—support groups, classes, business meetings—and have a space available to rent at our Castlemilk venue.

The Loving Language programme focuses on improving the language and communication skills of all our children.
